As per DG DIRECTIVE 01-2015, existing heliports, helidecks and aircraft landing areas within the UAE are required to be compliant with the new (CAP 71) regulation by 1st January 2018.
Dubai Petroleum Establishment (DPE), in collaboration with the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), was formally awarded our certificate on the 19th April. Both our onshore and offshore helipads were upgraded in compliance with the Landing Area Acceptance process.
DPE is the first entity in Dubai to receive the CAP 71 certification from the GCAA.
