On 15-17 October 2019, Dubai Petroleum participated in the RECSO EnviroSpill Conference & Exhibition at Etihad Towers, Jumeirah Hotel Abu Dhabi. Dubai Petroleum are a member of RECSO and supported the conference development on both the Steering and Technical Committees. As one of the major sponsors, Dubai Petroleum, represented by the Head of External Affairs, Mr. Abdulaziz Mohammad Janahi, received a plaque from Mr. Salah Abdalla Yousif Ahmed AL Rayssi – Acting, Assistant Undersecretary, Biodiversity & Marine Life Sector, Biodiversity & Marine Life Sector.
Dr. Simon Wait received a plaque for his presentation on “Dealing with Oil Spills from a Smaller Company Perspective” and for his contribution on the panel session discussing “Oil Spill Management”. Mr. Stephen Thomson received a plaque for his contribution for the Technical Committee.
